Water temp- 46-48.5 on main lake
Visibility - 6-8"
Lake level- 2.4 ft above summer pool, dropping 0.5 ft a day
Started about noon with my ole man today. Mainly went up to run the boat and make sure everything's working, but we fished about 3-4 hrs. Dad caught a 44 inch musky within first 20 min, and that sums up our action for the day lol. We flipped the flooded shoreline and bushes, trying to find clear water or warmer temps. Then we moved to steeper banks beside main river channels without any luck. Did have one bite on a jig up around big cave run, but it just took a pincher and that was it. All in all, was just a tough, early season day with cold, muddy falling water, but with great weather and made for a decent day on the lake. Plan on getting back up there this weekend.
