Just got back from first trip ever on this lake. Loved it, although it was tougher than I had planned. Rented a 55' houseboat and tied the bassboat along side. 74-75 degree surface temps all week.
My son got a 20" smallie the first afternoon and I got a 21" a day later to retain my crown as "big fish king" of the trip. The largemouth were fair in the backs of creeks and pockets that had grass...all on topwater. No big largemouth most 13"-16"
At night we fished deep bluff banks under the lights and caught some gorgeous crappie 13"-14". I'm seriously thinking about going back down and just concentrating on the crappies.
