Oakley Redfish Tour Finale in Destin, Florida

Fla. - The Emerald Coast will be the final destination for the 2013
Oakley Redfish Tour. "We are looking forward to visiting one of the best
fishing destinations on the planet," says Louis Wellen with Oakley
Sports Marketing. "The fishing in September shouldn't disappoint and we
are excited to be headed to the Emerald Coast for the Destin Open,"
added Wellen.
"We're called the 'World's Luckiest Fishing Village' for good reason, which makes this area an ideal stop for the Oakley Redfish Tour," says Dan O'Byrne, director of Okaloosa County's Tourist Development Department. "Tournaments like these are a great way to add a competitive edge to a favorite pastime of ours here in Destin."
The Emerald Coast Tourist Development Council is a sponsor of the final leg of Oakley's Redfish Tour. The competition kicks off on Saturday September 7th and teams will weigh in at Bass Pro Shops in Destin starting at 3 p.m. The winning team of the Destin Open will take home 2013 bragging rights and a 2013 Mako 18 LTS Skiff valued at $30,000.
Onsite registration for the event will take place September 6 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bass Pro Shops or anglers may register online in advance at www.oakleyredfish.com. Registration is $500 per team. The first 50 teams to pre-register will receive a pair of Polarized Oakley Sunglasses and two inshore rods from Wright McGill ($600 Value). Other tour sponsors include Bass Pro Shops, Mako Boats, Mercury Marine, Lazer TroKar, Wright McGill, Minn Kota, Talon, Tito's Vodka, GoPro, ATX Wheels, K2 Coolers and Club Macanudo.
