Got my jig mold out and found that I didn't exactly have the right size hooks for half ounce. Oh what the heck i'm in the mood. So I'm going to make them a little more compact was my excuse for using a little smaller hook than I should. I'll kick my own butt if I loose a good fish for taking a short cut. But I had lead and I had heat and I had a mold stairing me in the face. Just the thought was relieving my cabin fever a few degrees.
Robbed some skirts from my build a spinner box and voila, I have a jig or two and my fever is down a few more degrees. Installed some weed guards a little latter while watching the UFC. UFC was not good for my fever!!![]()
Now to lower my cabin fever down to something manageable I would need a fish. So I was desperate and took desperate measures. The next picture is my catch for the day and did drop my fever a few more degrees.
Conditions : Water temp about 72 degrees. Water was clear with about two to three inches visibility. Water was calm. Depth of fish caught was about four to five inches.
This is not a tackle craft picture but tackle craft is closely related to the reduction of cabin fever. So while I was making my jigs and letting my mold cool before I put it away I turned around and installed my new kentukyangling.com decal on the right rear of my boat. Again, fever dropped another degree or two.
