Frank , June moon is usually good on Laurel....The 15th will be about 1st quarter or larger moon..... I usually fish worm or spinnerbait on darker night, but with a filling moon IS like the area aroun the dam for smallmouth and walleye.... Try points with a chartruese grub like a fat albert on a 1/4 ounce jig head....also a jerkbait like a rogue in clown or silver blue back......and if you hear fish blowing on the banks use a wake bait....
All the points from Grove back to Holly Bay hold walleye and brown fish. Good luck on those walleye !
I would chunk a spinnerbait in red and white or a red or junebug soft plastic in those trees and laps...... if I get down to the dam area I may run across you......It is just normal for me to be inthe river above flatwoods ramp......I just like the river bends and worm fishing for big largemouth....Good fishing....GOD BLESS
